“We produce paint and give it to artists who do fantastic things we never thought possible. We made a special trip to see Sara’s work at the Rembrandt Gallery on the Isle of Wight and were bowled over by her imagination and skill!”
So stated a high-ranking Pebeo official upon witnessing Sara Kouvaritakis’ creations during a rare and specific scouting mission to the artists’ hometown.
Since then her work has continued to evolve apace, with local art establishments keen to exhibit the abstract multimedia pieces that glisten courtesy of equal parts unbridled joy and unsettling narrative.
It therefore is almost unsurprising that these sensational interpretations have been cultivated over the course of more than four decades by an artist who is blessed with the ability to convey a myriad of emotions through visually intense expression.
